Job Description

Responsible for improving and sustaining all semiconductor manufacturing processes. 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate projects to minimize defects, improve process control, reduce rework, study process window for new devices, qualify new tools and evaluate new consumables
  • Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to contribute to teams solving wafer fabrication problems
  • Collaborate with Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Operations and R&D groups on cross-functional projects
  • Participate in inter-departmental efforts to manage process excursions
     

Work Environment

Knowledge & Abilities – Comprehension of process, device and product interactions in semiconductor manufacturing.  Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time

Job Complexity & Responsibility – Works with several groups to develop solutions

Supervision – Management support for setting and achieving goals

Conditions – Normal office conditions and works in fab
 

Experience

  • Minimum requirement is a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
  • Preferred 3-5 years’ integration, yield, process or product engineering experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of principles, theories, concepts and techniques of semiconductor process engineering
  • Ability to execute definable portions of a project or lead own small projects
  • Ability to use knowledge to provide solutions to a variety of difficult problems.
  • Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a global team or environment
  • Ability to communicate and present technical concepts and analysis in an effective manner
