Job Description
The HR Site Manager will oversee and align all HR functions at the site, delivering comprehensive HR services that support business objectives and drive employee engagement. The role requires a strategic and proactive approach to workforce management and organizational effectiveness.
Site management Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the HR Business Partner team, providing strategic HR support in employee relations, performance management, retention of key talent, and organizational change.
- Ensuring that HR services are integrated and aligned with the site’s business needs.
- Advise site leadership on organizational design, efficiency improvements, and change management initiatives to support business growth.
- Manage employee relations by addressing complex workplace issues and implementing effective solutions that balance employee advocacy and business needs.
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, interpreting HR policies and recommending updates to align with best practices.
- Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that foster an inclusive, engaging, and productive work environment.

Assignment Complexity
- Analyze problems from multiple perspectives, using data-driven, creative, and innovative solutions within sound business judgment. Responsibilities span employee relations, staffing, training, performance management, compensation, disciplinary actions, policy improvements, legal compliance, and presenting to site and corporate management.
Accountability/Discretion
- Many decisions, including policy interpretations, are made independently based on sound judgment and are not subject to management review. Errors or poor decisions could expose the corporation to legal risks, increase operating costs, reduce productivity, cause delays in programs, or require additional resources.
Working Relationships
- Collaborate with employees at all levels, external vendors, and legal counsel, balancing employee advocacy with business objectives.
Supervision
- Complete duties independently with minimal supervision.

Education, Experience and Skill Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology or other related field. Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 5 years related experience in managing an HR team in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment of change and competing priorities with 7-10 years of overall HR experience preferred.
- Must have excellent communications, interpersonal and negotiation skills, as well as good presentation skills.
- Proven success in leading change, leading project schedules and managing projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation and facilitation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including consultative and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives.
- Experience in working in manufacturing and or high tech industry experience and working in union environment is preferred
- Strong multi-tasking and project management skills and strong investigation and employee relations experience
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of applicable federal and state employment laws and compliance implications.
- Must desire a high level of autonomy to manage multiple ongoing issues and complex employee relations matters with minimum supervision and with excellent execution.
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability for negotiation and influencing change and facilitate conflict resolution.
- Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams, assigned client group(s), and key contacts representing the organization on contracts or projects.
- Experience with and ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
- Intermediate to advance level skills with Microsoft office suite and working knowledge of HR systems (ex: Peoplesoft, Kronos, Taleo, SAP, etc) are required.
- Must be flexible with working hours to be able to support various shift groups
Compensation:
$135,000-150,000
